How does alcohol work?
Alcohol Service must go through the caterers in our package. Maximum 4 hours of service. All alcoholic beverages must be served in compliance with all laws and regulations established by appropriate governmental units - including no service to underage or intoxicated guests.
How do I reserve my date?
To reserve your wedding date, a non-refundable reservation fee and signed contract are due. 50% of balance is due 6 months prior to wedding. Final balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding date. All payments are non-refundable.
What is your guest capacity?
Pleasant Union Farm can accommodate events up to 175 guests.
What happens if it rains?
We have a gorgeous covered deck that will keep your guests dry for your ceremony while maintaining a separate reception space inside the barn.

What is the average budget of a couple getting married at Pleasant Union Farm?
Most couples have a total budget of $15,000 - $20,000. Smaller weddings (less than 100) and/or couples interested in Fridays can work with smaller budgets. Larger weddings (150 - 175) and/or couples adding fun and unique items are typically in the $20,000 - $30,000 range.
Do we have to use your catering and barservice?
You do need to use our barservice to ensure all the licensing and insurance requirements are met. You can work with caterers outside our preferred list as long as they are licensed, insured, full service caterers that meet our approval.
How many cars can your parking lot hold?
The main parking lot will hold up to 55 cars - which is typically enough for weddings of 125 - 150. We have overflow parking areas along the main drive that will accommodate up to 175 guests. There is a handicap drop off area with easy access to the main reception and ceremony spaces.
Do you get Uber service at Pleasant Union Farm?
We do and you can schedule an Uber up to 30 days in advance! That allows guests to know their Uber will be there when they are ready. How to Schedule Uber
Do you allow dogs?
We do allow dogs to be a part of your ceremony. They must be on a leash and monitored at all times.
What time does my event need to end?
We provide 5 hours of event time from ceremony to end of reception. All amplified music must be done by 11pm.
We understand sometimes the unplanned happens and you have to make the difficult decision to cancel your wedding. In that event, please let us know as soon as possible. We will send an agreement to release the date and release you from the contract. You do not owe any remaining payments on the contract, but payments already made are non-refundable. These payments cover the planning process, meetings, software access, deposits for vendors, etc. You can find our Covid Policy below. If you choose to reschedule your date due to personal circumstances, there is a $1,500 reschedule fee to cover additional work to move dates and rework contracts with vendors.
We follow the same guidelines as Restaurants in GA. Most regulations relate to servers wearing appropriate PPE and serving all food and drinks. We are currently open and able to host events. If that changes through government regulations, we will work with you to reschedule your date at no cost if it is impacted by the government restrictions. We are cleaning and sanitizing the venue between events and sanitizing restrooms through the event. Guests are welcome to wear masks, but it is not required by the State of GA. Anyone who is positive for Covid may not attend the event for the safety of everyone involved. If the Bride, Groom or Parents become Covid positive less than 14 days before the event, please let us know as soon as possible so we can work with you on options to reschedule. If the venue is not closed due to state mandates but you would like to move the date, the rescheduling fee will apply.
