FAQ + Resources

What is the average budget of a couple getting married at Pleasant Union Farm?

We have a variety of pricing options to fit most budgets! You can choose the "Blank Canvas" option and have more control over your overall budget or choose one of our carefully curated "All-Inclusive" packages for a done-for-you wedding planning experience.

With that said, most couples have a total budget of $25,000 - $35,000.

Smaller weddings (less than 100) and/or couples interested in weekdays and Fridays can work with smaller budgets.

Larger weddings (125 - 150 guests) and/or couples adding fun and unique items are typically in the $35,000 - $45,000 range.

How does alcohol work?

We allow beer and wine service for up to 4 hours, and we require you to use our licensed bartending team. That means no mystery coolers, no liability headaches, and yes—your guests are still going to have a blast. An off-duty officer is required during service (we arrange that for you), and we keep everything polished, legal, and under control without killing the vibe.

How do I reserve my date?

To reserve your wedding date, a non-refundable first payment and signed contract are due.

How many guests can you comfortably host?

We sweet spot at 80 to 150 guests. With your 80-person guest list, everything feels spacious but warm—room to dance, dine, and soak in every moment without ever feeling crowded or cavernous. We’ll help you design a layout that feels intentionally cozy and easy to move through. No sardine rows or awkward corners.

Let’s be real—North Georgia weather has a mind of its own. But at Pleasant Union Farm, we have gorgeous, stress-free options built right in. If the skies don’t cooperate, your ceremony can be held on our spacious covered porch with café lights, and open views of the farm and gardens. Still feels like the outdoors—just with fewer puddles. Want to move indoors? Our reception barn offers white wood walls, glowing string lights, and a modern-rustic style that makes “Plan B” feel like it was the plan all along.

Do we have to use your catering and bar service?

We have a great selection of caterers for you to choose from to fit your food choice and budget.

We do require you choose from these vendors for catering and bar tending services.

We do require use of our preferred bar tending services. They provide the appropriate insurance and liability to cover your event.

We also require an off-duty office be present during alcohol service.

Is there enough parking?

Yes—and it’s all onsite, easy, and close to the ceremony space. You won’t need to rent shuttles, hand out parking maps, or send a cousin to direct traffic in a bowtie. Whether it’s grandparents in heels or friends rolling in from Atlanta, everyone will find their spot and be at the ceremony within minutes. The main parking lot will hold up to 55 cars - which is typically enough for weddings of 100 - 125.

We have overflow parking areas along the main drive that will accommodate up to 150 guests.

There is a handicap drop off area with easy access to the main reception and ceremony spaces.

Do you get Uber service at Pleasant Union Farm?

We do and you can schedule an Uber up to 30 days in advance! That allows guests to know their Uber will be there when they are ready.

Do you allow dogs?

We do allow dogs to be a part of your ceremony. They must be on a leash and monitored at all times.

What time does my event need to end?

We provide 5 hours of event time from start of ceremony to end of reception. All amplified music must be done by 10pm.
