BlueberriesAll our bushes were planted by hand by our family. My husband (Cale) used his John Deere tractor (favorite purchase ever) to dig all 1,000 holes - no post hole diggers, thankfully. Then we placed the plants in each one - all 1,000. Each plant received Cottonseed meal for fertilizer - all natural, no chemicals. Then they were covered with pine bark mulch - the acid in the mulch is good for the plants. The rows received all natural mulch in between the plants for weed control and to hold in moisture. Finally, Cale put grass seed in between the rows to give you something nice to walk on as you pick. It's something we love doing, and you can see it in all our little plants.

Dairy GoatsOur goats provide tons of fresh, creamy milk that we use in our soaps and lotions. Goats milk contains alpha hydroxy acids, Vitamin A and emolients that help moisture absorb into your skin. Our soap and lotion is full of natural ingredients that are great for sensitive skin. We handcraft our soaps and lotions in small batches.

HensOur hens free-range during the day and get a supplement of feed to provide all the vitamins and minerals they need. They provide eggs in shades of brown, green and blue - which makes for a pretty and delicious dozen eggs! Try them scrambled for great taste or add them in your baking for higher rising breads and cakes.
